The new Boston Public Market is the first of its kind in the country with over 38 vendors serving the community year-round. The 30,000-square-foot building is home to locally sourced vendors from all over Massachusetts. Ninety percent of all the food sold in the market is produced, caught or grown in Massachusetts, supporting the local economy and agriculture as well as promoting land conservation. The demonstration kitchen inspires sustainable cooking through active instruction and education in a memorable urban setting. The unique marketplace was designed to create a one-of-a-kind experience for Boston residents, local farmers, fisherman and tourists.
