The $34M renovation enhances student life on South Campus featuring 52,000 square feet of dining options, study spaces, and lounging areas- everything a student could ask for. A three-story dining hall. Private lounge. Seven new smart classrooms. The Contemporary design also features a bright and open section with a two-story glass wall providing a view of the South Campus quad making McGuavran Student Center the heart of campus.

Food related, a variety of options are provided from retail food, all-you-care-to-eat “home-cooked” entrees, pizza, pasta, a salad bar, glute-free options, a bakery, café, as well as late night takeout. The new-and-improved McGauvran Center will become the go-to dining hall on South Campus.
