CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY

Ricca provided culinary design services (SD-CA) for the newly renovated Fribley Commons, which now offers a vibrant, modern, and reimagined dining facility for students to enjoy. Fribley Commons updated servery now features multiple restaurant concepts, which have been warmly received by students. Part of the dining area also stays open for late night options and provides additional spaces for students to socialize and study. The facility features the Elephant Step Inn, a retail coffee bar; From the Home (comfort food); From the Fire (grill); From the Hearth (pizza, calzones, bread); From the Cazuela/From the East (alternating between Mexican & Asian); Made to Order (made to order breakfast options); From the Kitchen (third-party delivery and late night); and From the Field (plant-forward entrees/salads). In addition to full design services, Ricca also provided a robust planning/concept design phase prior to schematic design.
