Denver Eater's 2017
Up on the fifth floor in the LoHi neighborhood sits the fifth installment of Justin Cucci’s famed restaurants which dot the city of Denver. The playful menu features typical Spanish fare— tapas, gazpacho, paella— interwoven with other established flavors from the Mediterranean. Greece, Turkey, Istanbul, and others are represented through creations such as matzah ball soup dumplings, shawarma spiced lamb ribs and ‘Diablos’ a dish with lamb merguez sausage, serrano ham and piquillo peppered feta fondue. Complimenting the blended menu, small plates and shared style of dining create a unique culinary experience.
The eclectic open dining room is grounded by dark tables and chairs, then elevated by natural light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows—acutely framing both the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountains. A built-in centerpiece of the restaurant, the exposed finishing kitchen is where you’ll spot staff slicing piles of jamón ibérico, shaking-up group cocktails and smearing hummus.
