HOTEL ALPENROCK BRECKENRIDGE

Ricca Design Studios served as the foodservice design consultant for the transformation of an existing DoubleTree Hotel in Breckenridge, CO to the current sustainability-minded Hotel Alpenrock Breckenridge, Curio Collection by Hilton. The 205-key alpine resort underwent a comprehensive renovation with a grand re-opening in 2025. Our scope encompassed the reimagined restaurant and bar concepts, flexible event catering facilities, and upgraded back-of-house operations designed to streamline service for both guests and large group functions. A key highlight of the project was the addition of a hidden speakeasy, offering guests an exclusive, intimate experience that complements the hotel’s signature dining venues. By integrating efficiency with elevated guest amenities, our design enhanced Alpenrock’s culinary identity and supported OZ Architecture’s vision of a modern mountain retreat.
