COMPLETION DATE

April 2021

ARCHITECT

PROJECT TYPE

Renovation

Known as the heart and soul of campus at Miss Porter’s School, 60 Main, or more commonly called “Main,” recently underwent a renovation and addition, creating a more contemporary dining experience for students. The historic building was renovated to serve modern students better, and the project team worked diligently to retain and enhance the character and historic charm of the 1831 building. The project includes an expanded seating area, bringing the total number of seats to 400, which allows for traditional all-campus dinners. The kitchen was expanded by 30 percent, and the servery was doubled in size to help improve flow during peak times. The servery also features a new exhibition style design, which allows for made-to-order meals and transparency.
