Ricca Design Studios contributed to the foodservice design at the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center. The project includes the Sassafrass Restaurant and Café, designed to integrate natural elements such as pressed botanical specimens and lighting inspired by blooming flowers. The dining area features unique local touches like a custom bench made from a Shumard Oak tree from the Garden, gaining itself a LEED Gold Certification. These elements create a seamless connection between the dining experience and the surrounding botanical environment.
