Built to replace an aging, yet beloved facility that could no longer keep up with modern demands, the new 52,000 SF, three-story dining facility now serves as a vital campus hub. Between the first floor, second floor, and outdoor terraces, Bolton seats over 1,000 guests.

Serving and food prep takes place on both the first and second floors, emphasizing small-batch production with exhibition cooking. These elements were essential to UGA Dining Services to promote freshness, food practices, and build community between students and staff. The all-you-care-to-eat facility offers 13 unique dining platforms, ranging from an allergen-free concept to smoked meats and a 50s-style diner serving handspun milkshakes. Many aspects of the old, and deeply loved, Bolton Dining Commons, were brought over to the new facility, including the robust salad bar and full-service bakery. Open and operating for over six years, Bolton Dining Commons has proven to be immensely successful in the eyes of both students and staff.
